Greg Flaherty
Remodeling Division Production Manager
Education and Experience:
Greg graduated from Henderson High School in West Chester, PA and obtained his Business Management degree from Towson University in Maryland, where he also played D-1 soccer. Greg worked for a local painting contractor during the summers and breaks from school throughout high school and college. As Greg was finishing his college education and facing the decision about what to do with his life, he decided to put his seven years of painting experience to good use and apply what he learned at Towson University to start a painting business with his long-time close friend Bill Long.
Greg has worked in all facets of the business since launching Colorful Remedies in January 2007 and has been dedicated to growing a successful home remodeling company that provides quality, desirable careers and advancement opportunities for its employees. Greg strongly believes there is a need for more quality individuals to join the trades and hopes Colorful Remedies will continue to be a company that recruits, trains, and retains quality team members who can handle the growing needs of homeowners in the areas we serve.
Role with CR:
In addition to his multi-faceted leadership responsibilities, Greg currently is the Head Estimator/Coordinator for Colorful Remedies’ Carpentry and Remodeling Division. He also regularly still estimates on painting projects and manages the weekly scheduling for both the Painting and Carpentry Divisions. He serves as the main recruiter and hiring manager for all new Colorful Remedies employees as well. Greg’s involvement in the field and close coordination of all aspects of the business provide him with a well-rounded and thorough understanding of the home remodeling process. Greg works closely with his managers across various divisions of the business to ensure continued quality and consistent service. Greg also is very involved with and maintains strong operating relationships and working agreements with Colorful Remedies’ many affiliate contractors.
Hobbies and Interests:
Greg is a soccer enthusiast and has been an active soccer coach with Spirit United, Continental FC, and Penn Fusion Soccer Clubs. He visits Chester, PA frequently for Philadelphia Union games and is a big fan of the English Premier League. Greg and his wife Kelly enjoy traveling and experiencing new parts of the country and world. Greg and Kelly welcomed Grady Daniel Flaherty, their first born son, into the world in May 2015 and are enjoying early parenthood. Kelly is an RN at Chester County Hospital and Certified Yoga Instructor currently teaching at the Light Within Yoga Studio in West Grove PA.
